Testimonials

Lindsay,

I cannot fully express how much your gentle and thoughtful compassion meant to us as you guided us through Pete & Emma’s final days.  We will never forget such warmth and kindness.

With our heartfelt thanks,

About Dr. Lindsay McAlister, DVM, CVMA

I grew up in Eugene, OR and I am happy to call the Pacific Northwest home.  Following graduation from veterinary school at Oregon State University I completed a small animal internship at WestVet Emergency and Speciality Center in Boise, Idaho. I then spent 5 years in Seattle working in both emergency and private practice.  I truly feel I found my calling in 2016 when I began working for an in-home, end-of-life practice in the Seattle area.  There are few things greater than the human-animal bond and this line of work allows me to play an important role in the very special dynamic between people and their beloved companions.

In 2016 I also completed training and certification in veterinary medical acupuncture through CuraCore in Fort Collins, CO.  I enjoy offering this service to my patients in their home environment.

I currently live in Eugene, OR with my husband, our two children and our brindle Boston terrier, Bodhi.  In my spare time I enjoy quality time with my family, running, photography and traveling.

Serving Eugene, Springfield, Santa Clara, Coburg, Creswell, Elmira, Veneta, Junction City, Harrisburg, Marcola, Brownsville and Halsey, Oregon and surrounding areas.

An additional travel fee may be assessed for appointments beyond a 30 mile radius outside of Eugene, Oregon.
